Limbs over a roof, a drive, or a power line come down on our schedule — not a storm's. We cut for clearance, and we shape the tree to keep it healthy. It doesn't get hacked out of the way.
We clean up as we go and haul off the brush. You're left with clearance, not a mess.
A quote visit is free, takes about 45 to 90 minutes, and carries no obligation. If we can't get out there, we'll say so rather than leave you waiting.
Questions we get asked
- When is the best time to trim?
- Late winter, for most trees. The tree is dormant, the limbs are easy to read with the leaves off, and it heals fast in spring. Storm damage is the exception — that gets handled when it happens.
- Can you trim near power lines?
- Up to a point. We work around the service line running to your house. The lines along the road belong to the utility, and they trim those for free — call them, not us.
- Will trimming hurt the tree?
- Not when it is done properly. We cut back to the right point so the wound closes over. What hurts a tree is topping it, and we do not do that.
