This explains what we collect when you contact Red River Land & Forestry Services LLC, why we collect it, and what we do with it. If anything here is unclear, ask us and we'll explain it in plain terms.
What we collect
Only what we need to quote and do the work. That means your name, phone number, and email address. It also means the address of the property and what you've asked us to do there. If you send photos, we keep those too.
We take photos of the work site before and after a job. We use them to document what we did and to settle any question about the condition of the property. If we ever want to show your job publicly, we ask you first.
Why we collect it
To reach you about your quote. To plan and do the work. To send an invoice, and to keep a record of the job afterwards. That's all.
Visits to this website
We use Google Analytics to count visits to this website. It tells us which pages people read and roughly what part of the country they came from. We use it to see whether the site is doing its job.
It does not tell us who you are. We ask Google to shorten your IP address before storing it. That way we see your area, not your street. We have also turned off the setting that would let Google use these visits to target ads at you.
This is separate from anything you send us. Filling in a form is you telling us something; visiting a page is not.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your information. Not to anyone, ever.
- We don't hand your name, number, email, or address to advertisers or data brokers.
- We don't text or email you marketing you didn't ask for.
Text messages
You can agree to receive texts by ticking the box when you book, or by telling us on the phone or in person. If you do, we use your number only for messages about your service. That means confirmations, reminders, crew on-the-way alerts, schedule changes, and quote or invoice notices.
How many texts you get depends on your job — message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with anyone.
Text STOP to any of our messages to stop receiving them, or HELP for help. You can also call us at (405) 237-5711 and we'll turn them off.
Who else sees it
Our own crew and office staff, so they can do the job. Beyond that, only the companies that run the tools we use. Our email provider, for example, and the payment processor that handles an invoice. They may use it only to provide that service to us.
We'll also share information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Quote requests that don't become jobs: up to two years, in case you come back to us. Completed jobs, including photos and invoices: seven years, which is what our tax and insurance records need.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Here's how to ask for deletion.
Children
We work for property owners and managers. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and change the date at the top.
